C Flamer Hire for Music Events: What Your Stage Plan Needs
C flamers produce real flame effects. For a music event, the first question is whether the proposed effect fits the stage, audience layout and venue. Choosing a machine from a video is only the start of that conversation.
Exciting Fireworks sells products through this website. Stage-effect enquiries and event services are handled through ExcitingFX’s flame-effects range.
What is a C Flamer?
The SHOWVEN cFlamer is a coloured-flame projector with a vertical output. Its manufacturer lists DMX control, which allows an effects operator to coordinate cues with the rest of a show.
Specify the actual model when enquiring. A C Flamer, a different flame projector and a spark fountain are different pieces of equipment. They should not be substituted in a production brief simply because their promotional videos look dramatic.
Equipment hire or an operated service?
ExcitingFX’s flame-effects page describes packages including professional setup, operation and fuel supply. The separate equipment-hire range is advertised as collection only and lists a C Flamer.
Confirm which arrangement you are booking. Collecting a machine does not establish that a crew will attend your show. For a concert or festival, ask who is responsible for setup, the effects cues and coordination with the venue.
Send a stage brief that can be assessed
Include the stage drawing and explain where performers, the audience, cameras and other production equipment will be. Tell the team whether the event is indoors or outdoors. Add the venue’s effect restrictions and the contact who can approve the proposal.
Do not copy a flame height or placement from another show. The proposed arrangement needs to be assessed for your venue and the exact equipment. Let the effects team address the machine-specific requirements rather than treating a product specification as an event approval.
Write down the musical moments
A short cue list is more useful than asking for flames throughout the set. Identify the entrance, musical accents or finale you want to discuss. Include who calls the show and whether the lighting team, band or DJ needs to coordinate those moments.
Keep the creative idea separate from the technical decision. You can explain the look and timing you want without prescribing how the equipment should be fired.
Before you request a quote

Share a stage plan, audience layout and intended cue moments.
