Gender Reveal Fireworks: Buying Products or Booking a Display?

You can buy individual gender reveal fireworks or book a display operated by our team. This guide explains the difference and where to buy or book.

At Exciting Fireworks, you can browse individual reveal products and accessories. For professionally operated gender-reveal packages, including larger combinations of effects, visit ExcitingFX’s gender-reveal packages.

Which effect do you want?

Decide whether you want a pink or blue announcement, coloured smoke for photographs or a coordinated reveal with several effects.

Buying a product and booking a crew-operated package involve different costs and responsibilities. Check what each option includes before comparing prices.

Check whether the effect shown in a product video suits the space at your event.

Buying individual gender-reveal fireworks

Our gender-reveal range includes products such as the Girl Gender Reveal firework, along with smoke products, balloons and confetti options.

Read the individual listing for the effect, duration, noise rating and required spectator distance. Check the instructions and warnings supplied with the product before deciding that it suits your location.

Do not assume that every product in a reveal category is used in the same way. Smoke, confetti, balloons and outdoor fireworks are different products, with their own requirements.

Booking a professionally operated reveal

Book through ExcitingFX if you want our team to attend and operate the effects.

For example, the ExcitingFX Mystery Gender Reveal Full Fireworks Package describes professional setup, firing and de-rig as part of the service. That is a booking for an event, rather than simply a box of fireworks to take away.

Before booking, confirm your date, location, venue approval and the effects included in your chosen package. Ask for clarification if a photograph shows extras that are not included in the option you select.

Check your venue before buying

For category F2 and F3 fireworks, buyers must be 18 or over. GOV.UK also states that category F4 fireworks are for professionals and that fireworks must not be set off in streets or other public places. Read the current fireworks rules and check any local restrictions.

Tell a hired venue what you are considering before purchasing or booking. Approval for one type of effect should not be treated as approval for every reveal product.

Protect the surprise

Agree who will receive the result and order the correct colour. If both parents want to remain unaware, ask us how to arrange the order or booking before sending any information.

Check the item, selected colour and collection or delivery arrangements before placing your order.
