Gender Reveal Smoke Bombs: Pink or Blue Buying Guide

Our gender reveal range includes pink and blue smoke products. Check the model, available colours and venue requirements before ordering. For a larger reveal, you can also book a professional team.

Exciting Fireworks sells smoke products through our smoke-grenade range. Professionally operated reveal packages are booked through ExcitingFX.

Choose the product as well as the colour

Smoke products differ in size, output and advertised duration, as well as colour.

Our range includes EG25, WP40, EG18 and EG18X models. Compare the descriptions and available colour options for each model before ordering. They do not all produce the same effect.

When looking at social media examples, ask which product was used. A video of several devices or a professionally managed reveal may show more than one retail smoke product can produce.

Photographs and video

Tell your photographer or videographer that smoke is part of your plans. Discuss the look you want before buying: a small colour accent and a larger cloud are different creative choices.

Manufacturer Enola Gaye lists smoke products for photography and gender reveals. It also explains that wind can affect the direction and dispersal of smoke. A demonstration video therefore shows an example of the effect, rather than a guarantee of an identical result at your location.

Ask us if you need help comparing products for your photography plans.

Venue permission

Enola Gaye’s current wedding guidance states that its smoke grenades are for outdoor use with the landowner’s permission. Its guidance also warns that smoke close to clothing or other surfaces can cause staining.

Check the instructions and warnings supplied with the exact product. Do not treat an attractive photograph as proof that an effect is appropriate for your venue.

Get approval from a hired venue before purchasing. Specify that you are considering a pyrotechnic smoke product; permission for decorations does not necessarily cover smoke effects.

Keep the colour a surprise

Agree who will receive the result and who will select the product colour. Check the selected variant carefully when ordering.

If both parents want to remain unaware, ask us how to coordinate the order and what details we need before sharing the result.

Check the collection or delivery arrangements and agree who will receive the items.

Want a crew-operated reveal?

An individual smoke bomb and a coordinated smoke reveal are different purchases.

If you want a Big Red Button moment, multiple effects or a crew to manage the reveal, explore ExcitingFX’s gender-reveal packages. Confirm what the chosen package includes and discuss the venue and date before booking.
